This weekend Banks Ladies will be playing their first home game of 2012 against Ashford. Sunday 22nd January KO 1pm at Grainville. Please come and support the Ladies!! |

The last time Jersey United Banks Ladies played Guernsey the game ended in a draw, however, Banks proved how much they have improved so far this season with a 37-0 win against the local rivals in an end of year inter-insular.

As part of their committment to promoting rugby on the island through sponsorship from the One Foundation, Banks Ladies have teamed up with Jersey Academy to help coaching for a new inititiative to get more girls into rugby. Training takes place at Jersey Rugby Club on Sundays between 10.30am and noon on Pitch 1 (Pavilion end) Initially we are targeting girls between the ages of 8 - 13, however other ages are welcome. So, whether you: are brand new to the sport and don't even know the rules; have played Touch or Tag Rugby for a while and just love playing and hanging out with friends, come and join us.
